The 5th Russia interregional conference "Business Associations corporative ethics standards" took place
in 7-8th Oct. 2005 in St.-Petersburg. The representatives of 7 Russian regions presented at the conference under the title of Russian Union of Fair Business Associations. The main question of the conference was the development of common business ethics standards of Fair Business Associations. "BUSINESS ETHICS CODE of St.-PETERSBURG EMPLOYER" was taken as the basis for others. Much time was devoted to the discussion of ethics standards between employers, employer and employees, employers and consumers. Some fragments of resolution are down:
- We think that it's possible to take . "BUSINESS ETHICS CODE of St.-PETERSBURG EMPLOYER" as a basis for other members of Russian Union of Fair Business Associations.
- We recommend to the Russian Union of Fair Business Associations to develop its own Code of ethics.
- The participants of the conference considers necessity and experience of international Fair Business Associations like the US and Canada "The Better Business Bureau" and to take its standards as basics adapted to Russian modern economic and social situation
